On Tuesday we had a lovely customer, Kade. He livened up a cold day by asking us for a special request. Along with his kilt order, he added a little note saying: ‘Please include drawing of a dinosaur fighting a giant baby alongside the kilt. Thank you greatly for this.’

Whilst doing a little research on St Andrew‘s day, I was surprised to learn that St Andrew is also the Patron Saint of Barbados. This small island in the Caribbean, that is over 4000 miles away, chooses November 30th as the National Day of Independence alongside St Andrew’s Day celebrations.

The patron saint of Wales is celebrated on March 1st. With the other Celtic nations hosting large scale and popular events to celebrate their national day, Wales, in recent years has increased the number of events and celebrations on or around 1st March.
You may have already noticed that this Sunday your calender will show a very unique date. Sunday will be the tenth day of the tenth month of the tenth year. Many people will look to seek some significance or meaning behind these dates, and will believe that a major global event will take place on 10/10/10.

We are pleased to announce that on Monday this week we officially opened our new warehouse. We’ve increased the level of stock we keep considerably to be able to offer an even better service to our customers.
We now have an even larger range of stock of kilts, Prince Charlie jackets, sporrans, kilt belts, kilt belt buckles, ghillie shirts, ghillie brogues, kilt hose, kilt pins, sgian dubhs and lots more.
We are pleased to announce that we will be moving into new warehouse space this weekend.
This will allow us to keep a much larger stock of highland dress, and in turn process our orders faster to reduce our delivery times.
We are hoping to move in on Sunday and expect to have the warehouse running at full potential in only a few weeks.
