For us, Christmas is the time of year to think of others and this year we did just that. Our brand The Tartan Blanket Co. ran a project called You Give, We Give and we wanted to share the results.
We got a new member of the team last year, so it’s about time that he gets a proper welcome.
Alfie came into the world on 1st October 2014 and into our lives on the 23rd November. On his first day with us, he got to witness the final F1 race of 2014 and watched Lewis Hamilton take the world championship – who would’ve known he’s such a big F1 fan!

On Tuesday we had a lovely customer, Kade. He livened up a cold day by asking us for a special request. Along with his kilt order, he added a little note saying: ‘Please include drawing of a dinosaur fighting a giant baby alongside the kilt. Thank you greatly for this.’

Whilst doing a little research on St Andrew‘s day, I was surprised to learn that St Andrew is also the Patron Saint of Barbados. This small island in the Caribbean, that is over 4000 miles away, chooses November 30th as the National Day of Independence alongside St Andrew’s Day celebrations.
