Earlier this week, eBay changed a few things in the way it charges sellers, particularly those with shops. It has significantly reduced listings fees (the fee a seller pays to advertise an item for sale) and has increased its final value fees (the fee a seller pays when an item sells). Fundamentally, this pushes their revenue to be collected when sales are made, rather than when items are listed, and therefore encourages people to list items on the site.
We’re quite excited about these changes, because it will allow us to list a much fuller range of products on eBay, without incurring significant extra costs. More products means more choice for our customers, and that’s something we’re keen to provide.
Why not check out our eBay store over the next few weeks and watch it grow with lots of exciting new products.
